Tracey T

Yes, I am a survivor. Liver biopsies, continued blood tests, and knowing we really do not have a cure does alot to the depression issue. We all know how awful that is. I would like to say one thing, only this, at least I have made a conscious effort to let family and friends know of my condition. Sharing is so positive. You begin to know where you set in the pecking order of life. I feel each day we are moving forword. Science will only improve with our input. I pray that we all will have peace of mind in knowing that one day the world will care. And, in this, we will survive. I am on disability now. After 25 years of accounting. Without the help of family, I could not survive. I choose not to take the interferon therapy, I knew too many who did, and was not helped but hindered. I was diagnosed in 2000. I believe I have been infected for many, many years. I only pray that we will survive many more years with help from the government and science itself. Prayers, Tracey
