Cindy C

When I was first diagnosed with Type 1a I had most likely had the disease for at least 10 years. That was about the time I got my tatoo. It was a shock to say the least since I had no symptons. My specialist suggested I begin the Peg/Ribo treatment. I gave myself a shot each week and took tons of pills each day, both of which made me very sick. Luckily I had good insurance and a very understanding employer.

My good friend and I read about all about Hep C and I started on a natural supplement daily regimin. I am still on it today. It is my belief that the vitamins and herbs have helped me to stay as healthy as possible. I am a strong believer in Milk Thistle, Olive Leaf, Liver Blend and Echinichea, I also take several others that are blood anti-oxidents. Be sure and drink lots of water as recommended. It really helps. The Peg/Ribo treatment did not eradicate my disease but even today my liver function is normal and my health is good.

It will take trial and error for each person to find their special "cocktail" but the overall effect is worth it. Luckily I no longer have to see my liver specialist on a regular basis.
